So, in case you haven’t noticed by now, PYC has a little brother.
Anti-Long, for those of you who don’t know, was born out of the frustration we felt at people and organisations being, well, long. No replies to emails, no answering phones, uhmms and ahhs and maybes – these don’t help us achieve what we want to do, so we thought we’d change things for the better.
We launched the Anti-Long site, started plotting, and with support from numerous people presumably facing similar long situations, the ball started to roll – the slogans, the tshirts, the stickers. We’re hugely grateful to all of you who’ve bought tees off us, and there’ll be bonuses aplenty in the future for those who copped one of the initial run (more on that some other time).
For now though, we promised that at a 100 Facebook likes we’d run a competition to win of the few remaining ‘We Don’t F**k About’ tees, and rule #1 of being Anti-Long is stick to what you say. Or at the very least, tell someone if you change your mind. So if you’d like to get your hands on a tshirt, all you have to do is spread the word! You could…
- Tag Anti-Long in a post on Facebook – update your status, share it on a mates wall, whatever!
- Mention Anti-Long on Twitter using @WeAreAntiLong
- If you run a blog, website, whatever – include a link to the Anti-Long website or Facebook page
- Sabotage Ronseal advertisements by adding a ‘g’ at the end of the slogan
- Piss it into the snow with your mates in 6-foot-high letters
Thanks to the power/ omniscience of the Internet, we can keep track of mentions on Facebook and/or Twitter, but while most incoming links to the site will be tracked automatically, it’s best to email us proof if this is your chosen option. The winner will receive an Anti-Long t-shirt and a shitload of stickers, plus some other exclusive goodies in the next couple of months, which you’ll find out about a bit nearer the time…
All emails should be sent to competitions@pycsessions.com with a subject line including the words Anti-Long somewhere, just for the sake of our sanity. Deadline is exactly one month away, on the 3rd 10th of December, and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards.
Good luck – and keep it brief.
